Hello Sacramento-area jazz and music lovers - Keith will be appearing on Sunday, October 9, at 2 PM in downtown Sacramento at The Avid Reader on Broadway to speak about his research and how it resulted in his latest book on jazz and civil rights. The Real Ambassadors’ story is one of persistence, dedication and the partnership between Dave and Iola Brubeck and the great Louis “Satchmo” Armstrong. Along with sharing a few of the fun and engaging stories uncovered while researching the book, Keith will be available to sign copies afterwards.
